They say,
   “With age comes wisdom.”

And now that I'm the grand old age of
sixteen.

I should know.

I should know how todothingsnevertaught
                               toseethingsIcan'tsee
                               toloveyouevenifyoucan'tloveme

All because it should be that way.

I should take better care of myself.
But what's the point?
I could be at my most and you would say I'm even less.
The laughs would be harder and the jeers would hurt more.
I'm wise enough to not hurt myself.

I should know how to do things I don't care about.
Who gives a fuck if I can knitsowcleancookcurlmyhair?
Not me.
If I need to know it, I'll learn.
Until then,
                  back the fuck off.
And please,
                    please,
don't try to teach me.
You're words and their words
            jeers                  jeers
           laughs                laughs

Sound the same to me.
You're no different from them.

Just to make it clear,
I never do things because I think it's cute.
I do them because I believe that's what I should do.
I do them because I can't react like others do because I'm unworthy of ragesorrowhappiness.

So, when you say,
“You're sixteen now, you should know-”

The truth is I don't know
and
                    I don't give a fuck about it.
I swear, we are two complete strangers forced to live under the same conditions.

My parents say that to me too. "You're sixteen now, you should know how to cook." When in reality my mother hardly cooks, and if she does its a quick meal. I'm too busy with something to follow her or my dad around when they're already making it. I dont need to learn it now, so why bother?
